Approximately 35% stays in Ann Arbor for design, printing, and production, 22% goes to Seattle for advertising and platform fees, 6% to Cincinnati for apparel distribution, 4% to Atlanta for shipping and logistics, 4% to Roselle, Illinois for printing presses and equipment, 4% to Texas and the Southwest for cotton farming, 3% to Toluca, Mexico for fabric sewing, and 1% to Pineville, North Carolina for screen printing inks.

Screen printing is a delicate craft, and we take great care to ensure the process is done right. We have internal apprentice and educational programs to train skilled professionals with a deep understanding of ink chemistry, curing temperatures, and apparel fibers. Getting these elements wrong can result in subpar prints, faded inks, or scratchy fabric.

To maintain the highest quality, we invest in top-of-the-line inks and equipment. Our QCM inks are more environmentally friendly, vibrant, and long-lasting than cheaper alternatives. Our screen printing presses and support equipment are engineered and manufactured by M&R in Roselle, Illinois, allowing our printers to work efficiently and minimize waste.

Our story begins with a dorm room project between two friends at the University of Michigan. Today, we proudly design, print, and embroider the majority of our products in our Ann Arbor factory. What makes our products unique is the fair treatment of our workers, the use of U.S.-sourced materials and cotton, and our in-house production, which allows us to maintain high quality and keep prices low.
